Cristina is an actress, writer & director whom recently graduated from an MA at RADA. Whilst studying acting in São Paulo, she worked at Comparsaria Theatre Company and SBT Channel. She continued her acting training in Barcelona, where she also worked professionally in a range of productions. Briefly after arriving in London, she started landing roles in several plays, including Macbeth (Barons Court Theatre and Upstairs at the Gatehouse), in short films, webseries (The Bloody Mary Show) and presenting. “It's Not You…” is her debut work as a producer, having founded What it Takes Productions to bring her creative material to life. She also has a degree in Advertisement, and her international background includes being raised in a Spanish family in Brazil, where she attended a French school for 12 years, and living in 3 different countries, all of which has influenced her universal approach to writing, directing and acting.
Anna trained at Guildhall and she is a versatile actress and voice over artist. Selected stage credits include: The Daughter in "The Return" (Etcetera Theatre), Martirio in "The House of Bernarda Alba" (Lord Stanley), the title role in "The Country Wife" (Italian Tour) and Irina in "The Archbishop’s Ceiling" (Bridewell Theatre). Film credits include "Ciao America","Aleister Crowley, Legend of the Beast" and the internet sensation "A Very European Breakup". Alongside her acting career, Anna has also a PhD in science from King's College London and she is involved in public engagement projects that bring together science and art, like the new play "Staminalia, a dream and a trial" that premiered last year at the Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon.
